Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: Enlightening Points Deduced from the Holy Quran about Leadership with Divine Authority) 16ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠ْهُورٍ عَنْ صَفْوَانَ عَنِ ابْنِ ٠ُسْكَانَ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) فِي قَوْلِهِ تَعَالَى وَإِنْ جَنَحُوا لِلسَّلْ٠ِ فَاجْنَحْ لَها قَالَ قُلْتُ ٠ُ قَالَ الدُّخُولُ فِي أَ٠16.

Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Jumhur from Safwan from ibn Muskan from al-Halabi from abu ‘Abdallah about the words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most gracious. “If they (the unbelievers) propose peace, accept it and trust in God. God is All-hearing and All-knowing.” (8:61).

The narrator has said, “I asked the Imam (a.s.), ‘What is the meaning of peace?” The Imam (a.s.) said, “It is the acknowledgment of our Leadership with Divine Authority.” يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi) ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (5/20))
