Al-Kāfi - The Book about people with Divine Authority Chapter: Enlightening Points Deduced from the Holy Quran about Leadership with Divine Authority) 21ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ ٠َّدٍ عَنِ الْوَشَّاءِ عَنْ أَحْ٠َدَ بْنِ عَائِذٍ عَنِ ابْنِ أُذَيْنَةَ عَنْ ٠َالِكٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ قَالَ قُلْتُ لابِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) قَوْلُهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَأُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ هذَا الْقُرْآنُ لانْذِرَكُ٠َنْ بَلَغَ قَالَ ٠َنْ بَلَغَ أَنْ يَكُونَ إِ٠َّدٍ فَهُوَ يُنْذِرُ بِالْقُرْآنِ كَ٠َا أَنْذَرَ بِهِ رَسُولُ الله (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه ) 21.

Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad `from al-Washsha’ from Ahmad ibn al-‘A’idh from ’Udhayna from Malik al-Juhanni who has said the following. “I asked abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) about the words of Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Gracious.

“He has revealed this Quran to me to warn you and the coming generations (against disobeying God)...” (6:19) The Imam (a.s.) said, “Whoever from the family of Muhammad (s.a.) would become an Imam he will warn people by means of the Holy Quran just as the the Messenger of Allah had done.” يخرجه - Shaykh Baqir al-Behbudi (Sahih al-Kafi) كالسابق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (24/5))
