Al-Kāfi - The Book of Social Manners Chapter: Offering the Greeting of Peace 6ـ عَنْهُ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ عَنْ ٠ُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ إِنَّ الله عَزَّ وَجَلَّ قَالَ إِنَّ الْبَخِيلَ ٠َنْ يَبْخَلُ بِالسَّلا٠6.

It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from ibn Faddal from Mu’awiyah ibn Wahab from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Holy, has said, ‘Really stingy is one who is stingy in offering the greeting of peace.’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (12/540))
