Al-Kāfi - The Book of Social Manners Chapter: Offer or Answer of Greetings of Peace by one Person From a Group Is Sufficient َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْ٠َنِ بْنِ الْحَجَّاجِ قَالَ إِذَا سَلَّ٠َاعَةِ أَجْزَأَ عَنْهُ٠2.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Mahbub from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn al-Hajjaj who has said the following from the Imam: “If one person offers the greeting of peace for a whole group it is considered enough and sufficient.” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (12/544))
