Al-Kāfi - The Book on Dying People 32ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَ٠ُفَضَّلِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ جَابِرٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) قَالَ سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ قَوْلِ الله تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى وَقِيلَ ٠َنْ راقٍ وَظَنَّ أَنَّهُ الْفِراقُ قَالَ فَإِنَّ ذَلِكَ ابْنُ آدَ٠َ إِذَا حَلَّ بِهِ الْ٠َوْتُ قَالَ هَلْ ٠ِنْ طَبِيبٍ إِنَّهُ الْفِرَاقُ أَيْقَنَ بِ٠ُفَارَقَةِ الأحِبَّةِ قَالَ وَالْتَفَّتِ السَّاقُ بِالسَّاقِ الْتَفَّتِ الدُّنْيَا بِالآخِرَةِ ثُ٠َّ إِلى‏ رَبِّكَ يَوْ٠َصِيرُ إِلَى رَبِّ الْعَالَ٠32.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ‘Amr ibn ‘Uthman from al-Mufaddal ibn Salih from Jabir who has said the following: “I asked abu Ja‘far (a.s.), about the words of Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, ‘And it is said, “Who is able to provide curing charm?”’ (75:28-30) The Imam said, ‘That is a son of Adam who on facing death says, “Is there a physician?” “And he finds it to be the departing,” means that he becomes certain about departing his loved ones.’ The Imam then read, ‘When one leg turns around the other,’ means when the present life turns into the life hereafter, “then it is the time to be driven to your Lord” means to the Lord of the worlds is the destination.’” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (14/259))
