Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Saâid from Fadalah from Aban from âAbd al- Rahman ibn abu âAbd Allah, who has said the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said, âAl-Qunut in obligatory Salah (prayer) is pleading (before Allah) and in Witr it is to ask forgiveness (from Allah).ââ (Ahadith 1-9 are best explained in the form of fatwa.)
