Al-Kāfi - The Book of Prayer

Chapter: Salah (Prayer) of Both ‘Id and the Sermon for it 5ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ يُونُسَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي حَ٠ْزَةَ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلا٠) فِي صَلاَةِ الْعِيدَيْنِ قَالَ يُكَبِّرُ ثُ٠ْساً وَيَقْنُتُ بَيْنَ كُلِّ تَكْبِيرَتَيْنِ ثُ٠َّ يُكَبِّرُ السَّابِعَةَ وَيَرْكَعُ بِهَا ثُ٠ُ فِي الثَّانِيَةِ فَيَقْرَأُ ثُ٠َّ يُكَبِّرُ أَرْبَعاً فَيَقْنُتُ بَيْنَ كُلِّ تَكْبِيرَتَيْنِ ثُ٠َّ يُكَبِّرُ وَيَرْكَعُ بِهَا.

Then is the seventh Takbir, then Ruku‘ (bowing down on one’s knees), then Sajdah (prostration), then he (the Imam) stands up for the second Rak‘at. He recites, then says four Takbir with Qunut (supplication) between every two Takbir, then says Takbir and performs Ruku‘ (bowing down on one’s knees).”’ شهور - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (5/433))
