Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father, from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following: âAbu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said that if a person fasts secretly, Allah, the Most Majestic, the Most Glorious, says to His angels, âMy servant has sought protection against my punishment, you must give him protection.â Allah, the most Blessed, the most High, then assigns His angels to pray for the fasting people and in whoeverâ s favor He commands them to pray, He hears and accepts their prayers.ââ Ø´ÙÙر - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (6/202))
