Humayd ibn Yazid has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Samaâah from more than one person from Aban ibn âUthman from âAbd al-Rahman ibn abu âAbdillah who has said the following: âI once asked him (the Imam) (a.s.), about a man who breaks his fast in the month of Ramadan intentionally.
He (the Imam) said, âHe is required to give twenty Saâ in charity and make Qadaâ (compensatory fast) of that fast.ââ ÙØ«Ù - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (16/275))
