Al-Kāfi - The Book of Haj

Chapter: The Dress in the State of al-Thram and Detestable Dress in Such State َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ شُعَيْبٍ أَبِي صَالِحٍ عَنْ خَالِدٍ أَبِي الْعَلاءِ الْخَفَّافِ قَالَ رَأَيْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَ٠) وَعَلَيْهِ بُرْدٌ أَخْضَرُ وَهُوَ ٠5.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Fadalah ibn Ayyub from Shu’ayb abu Salih from Khalid abu al-‘Ala’ al-Khaffaf who has said the following: “I saw abu Ja‘far (a.s.), in the state of Ihram with a green gown on him.” جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (7/279))
