Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad from Dawud al-Riqqiy who has said the following: âI once asked abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), about a man who owes one badanah as obligatory ransom. He (the Imam) said, âIf he cannot find one badanah, then it is seven sheep; and if he cannot afford then he must fast for eighteen days.ââ ختÙÙ ÙÙÙ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (17/371))
