1.Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Khalid from Saâd ibn Saâd who has said the following: âI once asked abu al-Hassan al-Rida (a.s.), about the words of Amir al-Muâminin (a.s.), âI swear by Allah, enduring one thousand strikes by the sword is easier than dying on the bed.â He (the Imam) said, âIt means âfor the cause of Allah.ââ صØÙØ - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (18/395))
