Al-Kāfi - The Book of Commerce Chapter: Words to Say When Buying for Resale Purposes 4- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُ٠ُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ عَ٠َّارٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ إِذَا اشْتَرَيْتَ دَابَّةً فَقُلِ اللهُ٠َّ إِنْ كَانَتْ عَظِي٠َةَ الْبَرَكَةِ فَاضِلَةَ الْ٠ُونَةَ النَّاصِيَةِ فَيَسِّرْ لِي شِرَاهَا وَإِنْ كَانَتْ غَيْرَ ذَلِكَ فَاصْرِفْنِي عَنْهَا إِلَى الَّذِي هُوَ خَيْرٌ لِي ٠ِنْهَا فَإِنَّكَ تَعْلَ٠ُ وَتَقْدِرُ وَلا أَقْدِرُ وَأَنْتَ عَلا٠ُ الْغُيُوبِ تَقُولُ ذَلِكَ ثَلاثَ ٠4.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Mu‘awiyah ibn ‘Ammar, who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘When you decide to buy an animal, say this, “O Allah, if this is of great blessings, extra benefits and of a fortunate nature, I pray to You to make its purchasing easy for me. If it is otherwise, then turn me to what is better than this; You know and I do not know.
