Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi âUmayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: âAbout the case of a man who claims that Wadiâah (safe deposit) were entrusted assets, abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said, âIf a borrowed item is destroyed with the borrower he is not held liable unless it is stipulated.ââ In another Hadith it is said that if the borrower is a just Muslim he is not held liable.
