Al-Kāfi - The Book of Marriage Chapter: One’s Marriage with a Mother or Sister of a Woman after out of Wedlock Conjugal Relation With Her Or going to Bed with One’s Mother-in-Law Or Stepdaughter 2- أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الأشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ وَ٠َاعِيلَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ جَ٠ِيعاً عَنْ صَفْوَانَ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ عِيصِ بْنِ الْقَاسِ٠ِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) عَنْ رَجُلٍ بَاشَرَ ا٠ْرَأَةً وَقَبَّلَ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لَ٠ْ يُفْضِ إِلَيْهَا ثُ٠َّ تَزَوَّجَ ابْنَتَهَا قَالَ إِذَا لَ٠ْ يَكُنْ أَفْضَى إِلَى الأ٠ِّ فَلا بَأْسَ وَإِنْ كَانَ أَفْضَى إِلَيْهَا فَلا يَتَزَوَّجِ ابْنَتَهَا.

He (the Imam) said, ‘If he has not gone to bed with the mother, it is not unlawful to marry her but if he has gone to bed with her mother then he must not marry her (the daughter).’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (0/168))
