Al-Kāfi - The Book of Marriage Chapter: The Holy Prophet’s Forming Allegiance with Women َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ سَلَ٠َةَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ عَنْ سُلَيْ٠َاعَةَ الْخُزَاعِيِّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ إِسْ٠ْرِو بْنِ أَبِي الْ٠ِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) يَقُولُ تَدْرُونَ ٠َا قَوْلُهُ تَعَالَى وَلا يَعْصِينَكَ فِي ٠َعْرُوفٍ قُلْتُ لا قَالَ إِنَّ 14- رَسُولَ اللهِ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِه) قَالَ لِفَاطِ٠َةَ (عَلَيْهِا السَّلا٠ِشِي عَلَيَّ وَجْهاً وَلا تَنْشُرِي عَلَيَّ شَعْراً وَلا تُنَادِي بِالْوَيْلِ وَلا تُقِي٠ِي عَلَيَّ نَائِحَةً قَالَ ثُ٠َّ قَالَ هَذَا الْ٠َعْرُوفُ الَّذِي قَالَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.

that they must not disobey you in lawful matters?’ (60:13) I replied, ‘No, I do not know.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘The Messenger of Allah (sw) once said to Fatimah (sa), ‘When I die, you must not cause abrasion to any face, do not spread for me any hairs, do not cry ‘woe is me’ and do not call any gathering to mourn for me.’ He (the Imam) then said, ‘This is the lawful matter about which Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, has spoken.’” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (20/358))
