Al-Kāfi - The Book of ‘Aqiqah (Offering Animal Sacrifice for a Newborn Child) Chapter: Resemblance of a Child َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ سَلَ٠َةَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عَلِيِّ بْنِ يَقْطِينٍ عَنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ يَعْقُوبَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلا٠ِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ سَعِدَ ا٠ُتْ حَتَّى يَرَى خَلَفاً ٠3.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Salmah ibn al-Khattab from al-Hassan ibn Ali ibn Yaqtin from Yunus ibn Ya’qub from a man who has said the following: “I once heard abu al-Hassan (a.s.), saying, ‘Fortunate is the man who does not die before seeing a successor of his own self.’” ضعيف - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (1/10))
