Al-Kāfi - The Book of ‘Aqiqah (Offering Animal Sacrifice for a Newborn Child) أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنِ الْحَجَّالِ عَنْ ثَعْلَبَةَ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَحَدِهِ٠) قَالَ الْقَابِلَةُ ٠4.

Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from al-Hajj al from Tha’labah from Zurarah who has said the following: “One of the two Imam, (abu Ja‘far or abu ‘Abd Allah), ‘Alayhim al-Salam, has said, ‘Al-Qabilah (the doctor) is immune and not liable.’” صحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (1/91))
