أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْجَبَّارِ عَنِ ابْنِ فَضَّالٍ قَالَ كَتَبْتُ إِلَى أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلا٠) أَسْأَلُهُ عَنِ الْفُقَّاعِ فَكَتَبَ يَنْهَانِي عَنْهُ. 5.

Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from ibn Faddal who has said the following: “I once wrote to abu al-Hassan (a.s.), asking about al-Fuqa ’ and he (the Imam) prohibited me to use it.” وثق كالصحيح - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (22/289))
