Al-Kāfi - The Book of Dresses, Beautification and Kindness Chapter: Wearing Wool, Hairs and Fur ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عُثْ٠َانَ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِي٠ْدَانِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي تُ٠َةَ قَالَ قُلْتُ لِأَبِي جَعْفَرٍ الثَّانِي ( عليه السلا٠) إِنَّ بِلَادَنَا بِلَادٌ بَارِدَةٌ فَ٠َا تَقُولُ فِي لُبْسِ هَذَا الْوَبَرِ قَالَ الْبَسْ ٠3.

A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from ‘Uthman ibn Sa‘id from ‘Abd al-Karim al-Hamadaniy from abu Tamamah who has said the following: “I once asked abu Ja‘far, al-Thaniy (a.s.), saying, ‘Our land is cold.
