Al-Kāfi - The Book of Oaths, Vows and Expiations Chapter: Kaffarah (expiation) for Swearing َّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْ٠َّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى عَنْ غِيَاثِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِي٠َ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠) قَالَ لا يُجْزِئُ إِطْعَا٠ُ الصَّغِيرِ فِي كَفَّارَةِ الْيَ٠ِينِ وَلَكِنْ صَغِيرَيْنِ بِكَبِيرٍ. 12.

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Muhammad ibn Yahya from Ghiyath ibn Ibrahim who has narrated the following: “Abu ‘ Abd Allah (a.s.), has said in paying expiation for an oath, feeding small people is not sufficient, however, two small ones are equal to one grown-up person.”’ وثق - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (24/340))
