Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has narrated the following: âThis is about the case of a man who after being asked, âDid you do such and such work?â says, âNo, by Allah, I have not done itâ when in fact he has done it.
Abu âAbd Allah (a.s.), has said that âAmzâr al-Muâminin, Ali (a.s.), has said, âIt is a lie that he has spoken and he must ask Allah for forgiveness.ââ Ø´ÙÙر - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (MirʾÄt al-Ê¿UqÅ«l fÄ« Sharḥ AkhbÄr Äl al-RasÅ«l (24/358))
