Al-Khiá¹£Äl - Part 7: On Seven-Numbered Characteristics Chapter: The Prostration on Seven Bones 7-24 ØØ¯Ø«Ùا أب٠رض٠اÙÙ٠عÙÙ ÙØ§Ù: ØØ¯Ø«Ùا عÙ٠ب٠إبراÙÙÙ Ø§Ø¯Ø Ø¹Ù Ø²Ø±Ø§Ø±Ø©Ø Ø¹Ù Ø£Ø¨Ù Ø¬Ø¹ÙØ± عÙÙÙ Ø§ÙØ³ÙØ§Ù ÙØ§Ù:Ø§ÙØ³Ø¬Ùد عÙ٠سبعة أعظÙ: Ø§ÙØ¬Ø¨ÙØ© ÙØ§ÙÙÙÙÙ ÙØ§ÙØ±ÙØ¨ØªÙÙØ ÙØ§ÙØ§Ø¨ÙØ§Ù ا اÙÙØ±Ø¶ ÙÙØ°Ù Ø§ÙØ³Ø¨Ø¹Ø©Ø ÙØ£Ù 7-24 (The compiler of the book narrated) that his father - may God be pleased with him - narrated that Ali ibn Ibrahim ibn Hashim quoted his father, on the authority of Himad, on the authority of Zurarah that Abi Jaâfar al-Baqir (MGB) said, âYou perform the prostration on seven bones: the forehead; the palms of the hands; the ends of the knees; the big toes of the feet; and the tip of the nose.
The first seven is a must but touching the tip of the nose to the ground during prostration is just recommendable.â
