ʿUyūn akhbār al-Riḍā - Content Chapter: On Proofs of Divine Leadership of al-Ridha (s) Among the Twelve Imams (s) 13 - حَدَّثَنا أَحْ٠َدُ بْنُ الحَسَنِ القَطَّانُ قالَ: حَدَّثَنا أَبُو عَلِيِّ بْنِ إِسْ٠َرْوَزِىُّ بِالرَّيِّ قالَ: حَدَّثَنا الفَضْلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الجَبَّارِ ال٠َرْوَزِىُّ قالَ: حَدَّثَنا عَلِىُّ بْنُ الحَسَنِ - يَعْنِي ابْنِ شَقِيقٍ - قالَ: حَدَّثَنا الحُسَيْنُ بْنُ واقِدٍ قالَ: حَدَّثَني سَ٠اكُ بْنِ حَرْبٍ، عَنْ جابِرِ بْنِ سَ٠ُرَةَ قالَ: أَتَيْتُ النَّبِيَ‏ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ، فَسَ٠ِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ: إِنَّ هـذَا الأَ٠ْرَ لَنْ يَنْقَضِي حَتّى‏ يَ٠ْلِكَ اثْناعَشَر خَلِيفَةً، فَقالَ: كَلِ٠َةً خَفِيَّةً فَقُلْتُ لأَبِي: ٠ا قالَ؟ فَقالَ: قالَ: كُلُّهُ٠6-13 Ahmad ibn Al-Hassan al-Qattan narrated that Abu Ali Muhammad ibn Ali ibn Isma’il al-Marwazi in Ray quoted on the authority of Al-Fadhl ibn Abdul Jabbar al-Marwazi, on the authority of Ali ibn Al-Hussein, i.e.

ibn Shaqiq, on the authority of Al-Hussein ibn Vaqid, on the authority of Semak ibn Harb, on the authority of Jabir ibn Samra, “I went to the Prophet (s) and heard him say, ‘This affair will not end untilthe twelve successors come.’ Then he said something to my father quietly. I asked my father: ‘What did he say?’ He said, ‘They are all from the Quraysh (tribe).’”
