ʿUyūn akhbār al-Riḍā - Content Chapter: Traditions about Ar-Ridha (a.s.) 299 - وَبِإِسْنادِهِ عَنْ عَلِيِ‏ عَلَيْهِ السَّلا٠ُ قالَ: قالَرَسُولَ اللَّهِ‏ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ: أَنَا ٠ِ وَعَلِيٌّ بابُها [فَ٠َن اَرادَ العِلْ٠َ فَليَاتِ البابَ‏].

31-299 According to the same documentation on the authority of Ali (a.s.), God’s Prophet (S) said, “I am the city of knowledge and Ali is its portal. (Whoever wishes to gain knowledge should go through that portal.)
