`Ali ibn Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn `Imran al-Daqqaq (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Muhammad ibn Ya`qub al-Kulayni said: Muhammad ibn Isma`il said, on the authority of alFadl ibn Shadhan, on the authority of Safwan ibn Yahya, on the authority of Mansur ibn Hazim that I said to Abu `Abd Allah al-Sadiq (AS): âVerily, I debated with a group of people and said to them, `Verily, Allah is far above being recognized through His Creation.
In fact, the servants are those who are recognized through Allah.â He replied, âMay Allah have mercy on you!â
