Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards

Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: One should know that the Salaat of Eid can be offered in congregation only.

One can offer Eid Salaat without congregation also for the following traditions support it: وَ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ عَنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ عُثْ٠َانَ بْنِ عِیسَی عَنْ سَ٠ِهْرَانَ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: لَا صَلَاهَ فِی الْعِیدَیْنِ إِلَّا ٠ٍ فَإِنْ صَلَّیْتَ وَحْدَکَ فَلَا بَأْسَ. 2.

And from the previous chain from al-Hussain b. Sa’eed from Uthman b. Isa from Sama’a b. Mihran from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “Salaat of Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid- e-Qurbaan can be offered only in congregation. However if one wishes to offer it alone there is no harm in it.”
