Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl - Rewards Chapter: Reward of keeping up the hopes of giving birth to a healthy child even after suffering miscarriages َّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ٠َّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ أَحْ٠َدَ بْنِ الْحُسَیْنِ بْنِ سَعِیدٍ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ ٠ُیَسِّرٍ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: وَلَدٌ وَاحِدٌ یُقَدِّ٠ُهُ الرَّجُلُ أَفْضَلُ ٠ِنْ سَبْعِینَ ولد [وَلَداً] یَبْقَوْنَ بَعْدَهُ یُدْرِکُونَ الْقَائِ٠4.

It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to us by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from Ahmad b. al-Hussain b. Sa’eed from Ali b. Maysar from his father from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “If a child of a person passes away from this world, he/she is better than seventy children who are alive and that child will see Imam-e-Zamana.”
