Muhammad ibn Yahya and others have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn âIsa from Muhammad Ibn Abi âUmayr from Muhammad ibn Hakim who said: I asked Abu 'Abdillah (al-Sadiq) (as): "Who is responsible for granting ma'rifa (a profound understanding of religion)?"
