Al-Kāfi - The Book of Food

Chapter: Kinds of Sawiq (roasted flour) and the Excellence of Sawiq of Wheat عَنْهُ عَنْ عِدَّةٍ ٠ِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنْ ٠َّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَيَابَةَ عَنْ جُنْدَبِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ٠ُوسَى ( عليه السلا٠ِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّ٠َا أُنْزِلَ السَّوِيقُ بِالْوَحْيِ ٠5.

It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith from A number of our people have narrated from Ali ibn Asbat from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd Allah ibn Sayabah from Jundab ibn ‘Abd Allah who has said the following: “I once heard abu al-Hassan, Musa (a.s.), saying, sawiq was made by the instruction from the heavens.’” جهول - Allamah Baqir al-Majlisi (Mirʾāt al-ʿUqūl fī Sharḥ Akhbār Āl al-Rasūl (22/124))
